Manchester United remain keen on landing Croatian star

Manchester United continue to remain interested in signing Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic.

The Red Devils are likely to prioritise a new defensive midfielder next summer, and Brozovic has emerged as a top target.

The Croatian has eight months remaining on his contract with the Nerazzurri, and he has yet to agree to an extension.

It was recently claimed that the club were close to renewing his deal, but that does not appear the case, according to Inter Live.

The San Siro giants have yet to meet his wage demands. There are several European clubs that are prepared to offer him a higher salary.

On top of this, they are willing to offer a better commission to his representatives. United are one of the high-profile clubs interested.

Brozovic can negotiate a pre-contract with a foreign club in January. United could start discussions with the player at the earliest to sign him.

Tottenham Hotspur have also been linked with Brozovic over the past year.
