Liverpool boss eyeing move for Leicester City winger?
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has reportedly earmarked Leicester City's Harvey Barnes as his top target to bolster the attack.
The 23-year-old has been a key player for the Foxes over the past few years. He has bagged two goals and two assists this season.
His current deal does not expire until June 2025, but Fichajes claims that the Reds will attempt to sign him ahead of the next campaign.
Klopp sees the Englishman as an ideal player to complement the likes of Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah in the wide attacking roles.
The Foxes currently have no plans to part ways with Barnes, and it may take a significant fee to convince them into sanctioning his sale.
James Maddison was linked with Arsenal during the recent transfer window, but a deal failed to materialise due to the £70m price tag.
It won't be a surprise if the Foxes value Barnes at a similar figure. It remains to be seen whether the Reds would pay such a price for a back up option.
