Chelsea make bid for Real Madrid defender?
Chelsea have reportedly made a formal offer to sign Real Madrid defender Eder Militao in January.
The Blues failed to land a new centre-back over the summer, and they are keen to address the concern this winter.
According to El Nacional, Blues boss Thomas Tuchel is a huge admirer of Militao, and the club have made a formal bid.
They have placed a £34m offer on the table, but it is claimed that Los Blancos have no intention to sell the Brazilian.
Militao has struggled to settle since his move two years ago, but he continues to be highly valued by Los Blancos' board.
He still has four years remaining on his contract, and the Spanish giants are in no obligation to sell him in the near future.
The Blues have also been linked with a move for Kounde, who they were unsuccessful signing in the last transfer window.
Their £42m bid was rejected by the La Liga outfit. Sevilla won't sell him for less than his £69m release clause in January.
