Manchester United enter race for RB Leipzig star?

Christopher Nkunku news

Nkunku on Man Utd's radar?

Manchester United have reportedly joined Arsenal and Manchester City in the race to sign RB Leipzig attacker Christopher Nkunku.

The 24-year-old has been in stellar form for the Bundesliga outfit this term, bagging 13 goals and nine assists from 20 appearances.

His progress has caught the eye of several elite European clubs, and Christian Falk claims that United are also in the pursuit.

Ralf Rangnick is a huge admirer of the midfielder's talents. He attempted to sign him for Leipzig from Paris Saint-Germain in 2018.

Nkunku eventually joined the German club 12 months later. It now appears that Rangnick is keen on luring him to the Red Devils.

The German has been appointed as United's interim manager for the season. He will then take up an advisory role for a couple of years.

United have made a dismal start to the current Premier League campaign, and they are presently eighth in the standings with 18 points.

They will be aiming to return to winning ways when they host Arsenal tomorrow. Rangnick won't be in the dugout as he awaits a work permit.
