Antonio Rudiger is open to staying at Chelsea if they can meet his contract demands, Fabrizio Romano claims.

The German has been with the Blues for five seasons, but he could leave them for free when his contract expires next summer.

Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are lining up pre-contract offers, but Rudiger is still open to staying with the Blues.

The centre-back has rejected the Blues contract offer of £150,000-a-week. He is eyeing a basic salary of at least £200,000-a-week.

The Blues are likely to reopen talks this month. The 28-year-old is ready to commit his future if the board meet his requirements.

Otherwise, he could be on the move. Real Madrid are widely regarded as the favourites to sign him on a free transfer next summer.

They parted ways with Raphael Varane and Sergio Ramos earlier this year, and are keen to bring an experienced head at the back.

Rudiger's agent has already made initial contact with Los Blancos.
