Arsenal are reportedly in regular contact with Internacional for Brazilian forward Yuri Alberto.

The Brazilian was on the Gunners radar in 2018 when he was at Santos. However, they could pursue him due to work permit issues.

He has since moved on to Internacional where he has established himself as a key player. The 20-year-old has netted 18 goals this year.

According to Goal.com, the Gunners are still keeping tabs on the youngster, who has primarily played as a striker for the Serie A outfit.

Internacional are not looking to sanction his sale at the moment. The Gunners are still in contact with the club over a potential future transfer.

Barcelona have also been credited with an interest in his services, but they may struggle to offer him playing time in the coming years.

The La Liga permits only three non-EU quota players, and the Catalan giants are unlikely to accomodate him in one of those places.

He may have to start off with the Barcelona B team which may not be a good career choice. Alberto could leave Internacional next summer.
