Kamara to Manchester United?

Manchester United have been credited with an interest in signing Marseille midfielder Boubacar Kamara next summer.

The Frenchman has decided against renewing his contract with Marseille, and will leave for free when his deal expires in June.

Kamara has already turned down Wolverhampton Wanderers and Newcastle United in the past. He is said to be eyeing a bigger club.

According to The Athletic, the 22-year-old could still head to the Premier League next summer with interest from the Red Devils.

The Mancunian giants are eyeing a new defensive midfielder, and they have been touted to sign Amadou Haidara from Leipzig in January.

Kamara has been linked with them in previous transfer windows, and they could pounce on the opportunity to sign him on a pre-contract.

The youngster can also comfortably play in central defence, and his versatile ability should attract plenty of transfer interest.

He has made 19 appearances for Les Phoceens this season. The club are currently second in Ligue 1, 13 points behind Paris Saint-Germain.
