Arsenal quoted price for Dusan Vlahovic

Arsenal will reportedly need to pay a club-record fee of £85m to sign Dusan Vlahovic during the January transfer window.

The Serbia international has been in sensational form for Fiorentina this year, bagging 32 goals from just 41 Serie A appearances.

However, his future appears away from Florence. With his contract expiring in June 2023, the club could sell him at the earliest possibility.

Fiorentina valued Vlahovic at £70m last summer, but they have hiked the price tag to around £85m amid the widespread transfer interest.

Aside from the Gunners, Manchester City are huge admirers of the marksman. Pep Guardiola is keen on landing his signature.

The Cityzens may have the upper hand over the Gunners in the transfer pursuit, given they are regulars in the Champions League.

It is unclear whether either of those clubs will pay a significant sum in January. The price tag should be lowered next summer.
