Arsenal have been handed a boost in signing Dusan Vlahovic ahead of the January transfer window.

The Serbian has netted a stunning tally of 17 goals from 18 appearances for Fiorentina this season.

His progress has caught the eye of top European clubs, and it appears that he could be sold in the near future.

His current contract expires in June 2023, and Gazzetta dello Sport claims that he has turned down a renewal.

The Serie A outfit are now contemplating his sale at the earliest possibility with his contract expiring in June 2023.

Arsenal have already made contact through intermediaries, and are likely to make an approach at the turn of the year.

He won't come on the cheap with a £70m price tag. It is also unclear whether he would fancy a move to the Gunners.

The striker has ambitions of playing in the Champions League next term, and this could dent the Gunners' pursuit.

Manchester City and Juventus have also been linked recently, and the former could be front-runners to sign him.
