Arsenal keeping tabs on Sweden striker?
Arsenal are monitoring the situation of Real Sociedad striker Alexander Isak ahead of the January transfer window.
Isak had a good 2020/21 campaign with the La Liga outfit, bagging 17 goals from 44 appearances in all competitions.
He went on to star for Sweden at the European Championships over the summer before signing a new long-term deal.
The 22-year-old has netted only six goals from 20 games this term, but it appears that the Gunners are still interested in him.
Gunners technical director Edu Gaspar is a huge admirer of the striker's talents, and he could be recruited next summer.
Sociedad are unlikely to entertain any mid-season deals. Isak has a €90m release clause, but he could be signed for much less.
Aside from Isak, the north London giants are keeping tabs on Lille's Jonathan David, who could leave in the upcoming month.
Lille have financial problems of their own, and there is speculation that he could be available for around €40m in January.
