Serie A trio keen on signing Arsenal striker

Arsenal forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is attracting interest from Juventus, Inter and AC Milan ahead of the New Year.

The 32-year-old was recently stripped of captaincy for a disciplinary breach. He has also been dropped for the past four matches.

Gunners boss Mikel Arteta has yet to decide on his future, but ESPN claims that he could head for the exit door next month.

Serie A trio Juventus, Inter and Milan are keeping tabs on him, but none of those clubs are keen on a permanent transfer.

They are reluctant to meet the player's significant wages of around £300,000-a-week, and prefer a short-term loan deal.

It is unclear whether Aubameyang will make the matchday squad for the Gunners when they face Norwich City on Boxing Day.

After that game, he is scheduled to join Gabon for the African Cup of Nations, and could potentially miss the whole of January.

Barcelona have also been linked with his services lately, but have the preference to sign Manchester United striker Edinson Cavani.
