Arsenal handed boost in signing Dusan Vlahovic?

Arsenal have been handed a boost in signing Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic before the transfer window closes.

The Serbian has been identified as a top target for the Gunners this month, and they are willing to pay big for his services.

According to La Repubblica, La Viola president Rocco Commisso is prepared to sell Vlahovic before the end of the month.

The Serie A outfit were initially hoping to keep him to boost their Champions League hopes for the 2022/23 campaign.

That appears a distant possibility now, and reports claim that the Florence outfit are ready to cash in on Vlahovic.

The Gunners are willing to meet the reported price tag of around £58m, but prefer to pay the amount over four years.

The only stumbling block remains the player's representative, but the Gunners are prepared to negotiate with him.

The north London giants could offer him a commission of up to £15m if the player joins the club in the next fortnight.
