Jurgen Klopp updates on Divock Origi's future
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp believes Divock Origi will stay with the club for the remainder of the campaign.
The Belgian has less than six months left on his contract. There has recently been speculation that he could be sold.
Amidst this, Klopp has been quizzed over his future. The German does not feel the striker will head for a winter exit.
Origi is currently on the sidelines recovering from an injury, and looks likely to leave on a free transfer in the summer.
Klopp said: "Div is still injured and still in recovery. So he cannot help us in this moment but I don't see any kind of scenario - pretty much everything can happen in life – but from this moment I would say he will be here."
The Reds have picked up just two points from the last three league games. They are now 11 points adrift of leaders Manchester City.
The club have a game in hand, but their prospects of lifting the title appear bleak at the current point with City in fantastic form.
The holders are on a stunning 11-match winning Premier League streak.
