Arsenal lodge bid to sign Dusan Vlahovic?
Arsenal have reportedly made a formal approach to sign Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic this month.
The Serbian has been earmarked as the Gunners' prime striker target, and they are keen on signing him before the winter transfer deadline.
Negotiations are underway with the Serie A outfit, and Corriere della Serra claims that an official bid has already been made.
Fiorentina value their striker at over €70 million. The Gunners have offered €60m plus Lucas Torreira as a makeweight.
Torreira joined the Florence outfit on a season-long loan agreement last summer with the option to buy for around €15m.
They are willing to lose him for a lesser price, provided they can get their hands on Vlahovic before the end of the month.
Vlahovic has not ruled out a move to the Emirates Stadium, but prefers to wait until the end of the current campaign.
He has a release clause of €50m that will become active. Owing to this, Fiorentina may prefer selling him this month.
