Barcelona propose swap deal for wantaway Man Utd star

Manchester United have been offered the chance to sign Ousmane Dembele in exchange for Anthony Martial.

Dembele has entered the final six months of his Barcelona contract, and he is free to speak with overseas clubs.

Amidst this, the Catalan giants prefer to sanction his sale this month. They are also open to potential swap deals.

According to El Chiringuito, the Blaugrana have now proposed to sign Martial in a straight exchange deal for Dembele.

United are long-term admirers of Dembele. They previously tried to sign him on loan in 2020, but it did not materialise.

They have continued to be linked with him regularly, and could be tempted to accept the Blaugrana's transfer proposal.

However, they may want some cash alongside Dembele for Martial, who has two years left on his contract with a 12-month option.

Martial is desperate to leave the club this month, but the hierarchy are reluctant to offload him unless a suitable offer arrives.
