Man Utd looking into deal for French attacker

Manchester United are reportedly looking into a potential mid-season deal for Barcelona contract rebel Ousmane Dembele.

Dembele has entered the final six months of his Blaugrana contract, and he has his sights on a new challenge elsewhere.

Chelsea and United are both long-term admirers of the player, and it is reported that the latter are intrigued to sign him.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the Red Devils have been following his situation closely, and could make a bid.

Dembele is also tempted by the prospect of playing in the Premier League after being linked with a move for several years.

Liverpool were initially touted as contenders to sign him, but the Merseyside outfit appear unlikely to make an offer.

It could be between Chelsea and United for the player. The Blues may have the slight advantage due to manager Thomas Tuchel.

Tuchel previously managed Dembele at Borussia Dortmund for one year, and could be keen on a reunion at the west London giants.
