Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek has secured a temporary move to Everton for the campaign.

The Dutchman was desperate to leave the Red Devils last summer as he was eager to secure regular playing time.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer blocked his potential exit, but his wish has now been granted by interim boss Ralf Rangnick.

The Toffees were only to include an option to buy in the summer, but the Red Devils were clear that they won't entertain it.

Van de Beek has played less than 400 minutes for United this term, and this has seen him dropped by the Netherlands lately.

The 24-year-old will be aiming to revive his international career with the Toffees where he will be assured regular starts.

His performances will be monitored by the Red Devils as the next permanent manager will decide on the midfielder's future.

Mauricio Pochettino, currently at Paris Saint-Germain, appears the front-runner to become the next Red Devils head coach.
