Manchester United goalkeeper set for loan departure?
Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson could reportedly leave for Newcastle United before Monday's transfer deadline.
The shot-stopper has struggled for regular minutes this term, having played second fiddle to David de Gea for the majority of the campaign.
He has been desperate to leave the club over the past few weeks, and Daily Mail claims that the Magpies are looking to seal a late deal.
Interim boss Ralf Rangnick was initially reluctant to lose him, but he has now accepted that the club graduate needs to play regularly.
The Magpies are in direct talks with the hierarchy, and the 24-year-old could leave on loan before the 11 pm deadline tomorrow.
United are unlikely to entertain any buy option for Henderson. They will allow their next manager to decide on his future.
Henderson was linked with Tottenham Hotspur earlier last year, but they seem to be focused on bolstering other positions now.
They have agreed to sign Juventus attacker Dejan Kulusevski and are now looking into a deal for Barcelona's Ousmane Dembele.
