Dean Henderson wants permanent exit

Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson will push for a permanent move away from the club at the end of the season.

The shot-stopper was keen on leaving on loan during the winter transfer window amid interest from Newcastle United and Watford.

The latter made an approach on deadline day, but the Red Devils did not entertain the approach as they had no replacement in place.

Henderson is reportedly frustrated by the transfer decision, and ESPN claims that he could now push for a permanent challenge elsewhere.

He has made just two appearances this term as the deputy to David de Gea. His third will come against Middlesbrough in the FA Cup tonight.

It is quite clear that he may not play again in the Premier League or Champions League this season, barring a surprise injury for De Gea.

The Spain international has barely put a foot wrong this campaign, and was recently named the club's and Premier League's Player of the Month.
