Bailly and Lindelof absent for Middlesbrough game

Manchester United manager Ralf Rangnick has confirmed that Victor Lindelof and Eric Bailly will miss the upcoming FA Cup fourth round tie.

The Red Devils are scheduled to host Middlesbrough in the Cup competition tomorrow, and ahead of the game, Rangnick has confirmed a few absentees.

Mason Greenwood is obviously unavailable due to suspension, but there are four more players who are expected to miss the encounter.

Jesse Lingard is still coping with the disappointment of missing out on a January transfer. He has been given a few days to sort himself.

Edinson Cavani won't return from international duty until Sunday while Lindelof (illness) and Eric Bailly (ankle) are also unavailable.

Lindelof has been struggling for the best part of a week while Bailly has returned from the African Cup of Nations with a swollen ankle.

The 27-year-old has struggled with injuries throughout his United career, and his fortunes have not changed. He could be out for a few matches.
