Manchester United in regular contact with French attacker
Manchester United are in regular contact with Ousmane Dembele over a free transfer this summer.
The Frenchman was linked with a mid-season move to Old Trafford, but a deal never materialised.
Dembele will now leave Barcelona on a free transfer when his contract expires at the end of June.
United have been long-term admirers of his services, and Sport claims that there is regular contact.
The club's hierarchy have held talks with his representative over a potential pre-contract agreement.
Dembele has suffered multiple injuries at Barcelona. He has spent over 700 days on the sidelines since 2017.
Despite this, he continues to be highly valued by elite clubs. Chelsea have also been linked with him.
Blues boss Thomas Tuchel previously managed him at Borussia Dortmund, and a reunion could be on.
Dembele is unlikely to rush a decision over his future. Paris Saint-Germain are also in the mix for him.
The 24-year-old was recently an unused substitute for Barcelona in their 4-2 La Liga triumph over Atletico.
