Liverpool remain interested in Brazilian attacker
Liverpool continue to maintain an interest in Leeds United attacker Raphinha despite the mid-season signing of Luis Diaz.
Diaz joined the Merseyside giants from Porto last month. He was initially on his way to Tottenham Hotspur before the Reds hijacked the deal.
Despite his arrival, the Reds are still looking to reinforce their attack next term, and have their sights on pursuing Raphinha from Leeds.
According to The Athletic, the hierarchy are keeping tabs on Raphinha's situation ahead of a potential approach this summer.
Raphinha has over two years remaining on his contract with Leeds, and talks are already underway over a new long-term renewal.
The Whites are determined to keep him, and Raphinha has publicly stated that he is indebted to the club for his recent progress.
Hence, the player is unlikely to push for an exit this summer, and it remains to be seen whether the Reds can test Leeds' resolve.
The Brazilian has been the stand-out performer for Leeds this term, bagging eight goals and two assists from 19 league games.
