Chelsea and Liverpool have been credited with an interest in signing Barcelona sensation Gavi this summer.

The youngster has bagged two goals and three assists during this time, and has also become a regular with Spain.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the Blaugrana are keen on extending his current deal which expires in 2023.

However, there has been no progress whatsoever which has led to speculation that he could leave during the summer.

Chelsea and Liverpool are keeping a close eye on the contract situation as they plan possible approaches to land his signature.

Gavi has been a regular starter for the Catalan giants lately, but he is reluctant to pen a new deal unless his demands are met.
