Arsenal linked with shock move for Chelsea striker
Arsenal have been credited with an interest in signing Chelsea striker Armando Broja this summer.
The Albania international is currently on loan at Southampton where he has impressed with eight goals from 24 appearances.
The Saints are obviously keen on signing the 20-year-old permanently, but they could face competition from the Gunners.
According to football.london, the north London giants are keeping tabs on the progress made by the young Blues striker.
It is unclear whether the Blues will entertain his permanent exit, but the chances of him joining the Gunners are slim.
Mikel Arteta's side tried to sign Tammy Abraham from the Blues last summer, but were put off by the requirements.
The Blues wanted a buy-back clause inserted which eventually paved the way for the England international to join Roma.
Broja, who has been compared to Diego Costa at times, would cost a price of at least £30m alongside the buy-back clause.
The Gunners may look elsewhere to pursue a young striker unless the Blues are willing to accept a straight cash deal without obligations.
