The Red Devils are presently fourth in the league with 46 points, but they are no longer in control of their Champions League destiny.

According to The Mirror, the 37-year-old is far from pleased by the progress this term, and could walk away if they miss out on the top four.

The hierarchy are also aware of the situation. They are unlikely to block Ronaldo from leaving if they can't offer Champions League football.

United can still qualify for the elite competition by winning it, but that appears a tall order for the club, judging by their performances this term.
