Georginio Rutter linked with transfer move to Arsenal

Arsenal have sent a senior scout to watch the performances of French youngster Georginio Rutter. The 19-year-old currently plays for Bundesliga side Hoffenheim, and has caught the eye with some exciting displays for his club and the French under-20 national side.

Mikel Arteta is looking to revamp his attacking options during the summer's transfer window, and Rutter has emerged as potential target. With the player apparently ready to move to England and join Arsenal, a fee of around 10 million euros has been mentioned.

Rutter came through the ranks at Rennes, playing four times for the first XI, before making the move to Germany. It was here that the Plescop-born striker began to show signs of his potential.

The player is expected to play on the fringes of Arsenal's first team if he does indeed arrive in North London. With the Gunners scouring Europe searching for new attacking talent to replace outbound Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah, the Gunners are leaving no stone unturned in their search.

Georginio has a contract with Hoffenheim until June 2026.
