Victor Osimhen tempted by Man Utd transfer?

Napoli striker Victor Osimhen would be tempted by the prospect of joining Manchester United this summer, Tuttosport claims.

The Nigerian has had a productive second season in Naples. He has bagged 15 goals and four assists from just 25 appearances.

His progress has caught the eye of several European clubs, and it has been reported lately that United may look to sign him.

According to Tuttosport, Osimhen has the ambition of playing in the Premier League, and United would be his number one choice.

However, a deal is far from likely at the moment. Napoli have no plans of parting ways with their prized asset, barring a huge bid.

They bought him from Lille for around €75 million two years ago. The Serie A outfit will demand at least €100m to sanction his sale.

It is unclear whether United can afford the sum as they are expected to prioritise multiple signings in the next transfer window.

The deal may also depend on the new manager, most likely Erik ten Hag, who may have different targets in mind for the summer.
