Liverpool make Arnaut Danjuma transfer decision
Liverpool have reportedly cooled their interest in Villarreal winger Arnaut Danjuma ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Dutchman was heavily linked with the Reds last summer, but he eventually made the move to La Liga with Villarreal.
He has since excelled with 14 goals and four assists from 29 games, and there has been talk of him pursuing a bigger challenge.
The Reds have been linked in recent months, but Goal claims that they are unlikely to make a formal approach in the near future.
Sadio Mane's current deal expires at the end of next season, but the hierarchy are confident that they can convince him to prolong his stay.
Meanwhile, the Merseyside giants signed Luis Diaz from Porto to bolster the left wing in January, and don't feel the need for Danjuma.
The 25-year-old could still leave the Yellow Submarines this summer with interest from the likes of Bayern Munich and Manchester United.
He has a release clause worth £63 million on his contract expiring in June 2026. Villarreal are in a strong position to negotiate at the moment.
