Man Utd star hits out at disgraceful performance vs Everton
Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has hit out at the club's disgraceful performance against Everton in the Premier League.
The Red Devils had the opportunity to keep up in the top four race, but lost further ground with a 1-0 defeat at Goodison Park.
Anthony Gordon scored the only goal in the opening half. The response was poor from United with just four shots on target.
It was another lacklustre display from Ralf Rangnick's side, and De Gea did not hold on his criticism over the performance.
The Spaniard was frustrated with the result, and said that the Toffees had more desire to win the game than the Red Devils.
He branded the club's showing as a 'disgrace' as they should have picked up three points. He said via Manchester Evening News:
"They were tired, they were nervous, but they keep going and keep fighting. They had more desire than us, which is not acceptable."
"It's very sad to lose today. It's a disgrace from us, we should be winning this game."
