Arsenal ready to offload winger for just £25m

Nicolas Pepe news

Pepe set for Arsenal exit?

Arsenal are prepared to part ways with Nicolas Pepe for just £25 million during the summer transfer window, The Mirror claims.

The Ivory Coast international joined the Gunners in a club-record £72m deal three years ago, but has simply failed to impress.

While he has produced some stand-out displays, it has not been sufficient enough to cement a regular starting position.

Pepe is now regarded as a fringe player under manager Mikel Arteta, and The Mirror claims that he will be offloaded.

The 26-year-old will enter the final two years of his contract in July. The Gunners are willing to sell him for just £25 million.

Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Emile Smith Rowe are presently the regular options in the wide attacking department.

Pepe has not started in the Premier League since early October, and the north London club are now prepared to cut their losses on him.

PSV's Cody Gakpo has been identified as a possible replacement.
