Man Utd and Real Madrid want Chelsea defender
Manchester United and Real Madrid are among the main candidates to sign Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger this summer.
The German has less than three months remaining on his contract, and could leave the Blues on a free transfer in July.
Amidst this, he is on the radar of elite clubs. Real Madrid and Juventus are looking to finalise a pre-contract with him.
United don't have the same luxury, but they are hoping to convince Rudiger if he is prepared to stay patient until the summer.
Rudiger has snubbed multiple contract offers from the Blues, and the club are no longer in a position to negotiate with him.
With the UK government sanctions on owner Roman Abramovich, they are restricted from any contract or transfer activity.
This may change with a takeover next month, but Rudiger is unlikely to stay unless he is offered a significant salary increase.
He is eyeing a salary of around £300,000-a-week which is significantly more than the Blues' offer in the region of £180,000.
