Man Utd handed triple boost ahead of Arsenal clash
Manchester United have been handed a triple boost with Raphael Varane, Scott McTominay and Cristiano Ronaldo back in training.
Varane and McTominay have been nursing minor injuries. They have missed the past couple of games against Norwich City and Liverpool.
Meanwhile, Ronaldo unfortunately could not make the Anfield trip following the tragic news of the death of his new-born baby boy.
The trio have now returned to first-team training, and Ralf Rangnick will confirm whether they will feature against the Gunners.
Among the trio, Ronaldo is expected to make his comeback, but it is uncertain whether Varane and McTominay will be fit enough to play.
United face a must-win encounter against Arsenal on Saturday following their humiliating 4-0 Premier League defeat at Liverpool.
They are currently three points behind Arsenal and fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur, but the north London giants have a game in hand.
Anything less than a victory at the Emirates Stadium could pretty much end their prospects of qualifying for next season's Champions League.
