Chelsea join Arsenal in race for Belgian star

Chelsea are set to compete with the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United in the race to sign Youri Tielemans this summer.

The Belgium international will enter the final year of his Leicester City contract in July, but he has no plans of renewing.

Hence, the Foxes will be forced to cash in on his services, and AS claims that there is plenty of interest from the Premier League.

Arsenal and United have been following his situation for a number of months, and they could face fierce competition from Chelsea.

The Blues are currently banned from any contract or transfer activity amid the sanctions by the UK government on owner Roman Abramovich.

However, the situation is expected to change soon with a new owner set to be announced. This should lift any spending restrictions on them.

Tielemans was valued in upwards of £50m after his FA Cup heroics last term, but he could now be available for as little as £30m this summer.
