Arsenal looking to sign Bundesliga midfielder
Arsenal are reportedly aiming to sign Hoffenheim midfielder Florian Grillitsch on a free transfer this summer.
The Austrian has less than two months left on his contract and he has been tipped to leave on a free transfer.
Napoli are interested in signing him, but Bild claims that the Gunners will offer stiff competition in the pursuit.
Grillitsch has yet to decide on his future, but he is expected to favour a move to a Champions League outfit.
The Gunners are currently on course to qualify for the competition as they lie fourth in the league standings.
They still have work to do with four games remaining and will be hoping to end the season on a strong note.
Aside from a new defensive midfielder, the Gunners have been fancied to sign a new striker and left-back.
Gabriel Jesus has emerged as the top target to bolster the frontline. Talks have been held with his agent.
Meanwhile, Bologna left-back Aaron Hickey is being eyed amid the inconsistent displays of Nuno Tavares.
