Man Utd star wanted by four European clubs

Manchester United defender Eric Bailly is attracting interest from multiple European clubs ahead of the summer.

The Ivorian has been with the Red Devils for the past six years, but has made just 113 appearances in all competitions.

He suffered a couple of long-term injuries earlier in his career, and has since struggled to nail down a starting position.

Bailly is presently the fifth-choice centre-back behind Harry Maguire, Raphael Varane, Victor Lindelof and Phil Jones.

He is desperate to move on during the summer, and journalist Jonathan Shrager claims that there is plenty of interest.

Lyon, Marseille, Newcastle United and Roma have made contact with the defender's agents over a summer transfer.

Among the quartet, Roma could be the front-runners to sign him due to the presence of former United boss Jose Mourinho.

Mourinho lured Bailly to the Red Devils from Villarreal when he was their manager. The two share an excellent relationship.

Bailly is likely to be tempted to reunite with the Portuguese tactician.
