Man Utd favourites to sign 23-year-old striker

Manchester United are among favourites to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen in the upcoming transfer window.

The Red Devils are keen on landing a marquee striker this summer, and Osimhen is one of the players being considered.

According to Sport Mediaset, Osimhen is not an indispensable figure at the club despite his impressive form this campaign.

The Serie A outfit are open to selling him for around €100m, and United are reportedly one of the clubs that can afford him.

The Red Devils have kept tabs on the Nigerian in the past, but it remains to be seen whether they will make such a huge outlay.

The 23-year-old has managed 17 goals and six assists this term despite missing two months of action with a cheekbone fracture.

He has yet to stay fit over an entire campaign at Napoli, and this raises doubts whether he would be a good signing for the price.

Aside from Osimhen, United are also monitoring Benfica's Darwin Nunez.
