Juventus are reportedly leading the race to sign Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba on a free transfer.

The France international is expected to leave the Red Devils when his current contract expires at the end of June.

Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid have been heavily linked with him, but the Bianconeri seem best placed to land his services.

According to Goal, the club's representatives have already spoken with Pogba's agents. They are keen on re-signing him after six years.

Juventus are still far away from an agreement with the wages left to be sorted. The Bianconeri currently have a wage cap of €7 million per year.

They are willing to go up to €10m annually in Pogba's case, but the midfielder is eyeing around €12m per year to secure a reunion.

It is unlikely that the Bianconeri will meet his demands, and it is up to Pogba to lower his wage requirements if he wants to return to Turin.
