Man Utd ready to offload academy graduate
Manchester United are ready to part ways with full-back Brandon Williams following his season-long loan at Norwich City.
The youngster made his breakthrough for the Red Devils last campaign, but was loaned out this term to gain more experience.
The 21-year-old has definitely done so with 29 appearances to his name, but he appears unlikely to be integrated into Erik ten Hag's plans.
According to Manchester Evening News, United don't have space for him next term, and are prepared to consider permanent transfer bids.
Southampton and Newcastle United were heavily linked with Williams in January last year before Ole Gunnar Solskjaer blocked his exit.
The duo could return for his services this summer. The Magpies may have the edge over the Saints as they are now financially better placed.
Williams has two more years left on his United deal with the option for another 12 months. He is reportedly valued at around £20m.
Aside from Williams, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Eric Bailly, Phil Jones and Axel Tuanzebe could all head for the exit door over the coming weeks.
