Thomas Tuchel says Chelsea need to act quickly
Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has said that the club need to act quickly if they are to make the right signings this summer.
The Blues are currently banned from recruiting players due to the ongoing sanctions on former owner Roman Abramovich.
However, the situation will change soon with a takeover. A consortium led by Todd Boehly are expected to complete the purchase.
Tuchel has now urged the hierarchy to speed up the proceedings as the club need time on their hands to convince players to join.
He said: "We have to act as quickly as possible. Our hands our tied. We have clear ideas for the profiles and characteristics of the players."
"It's not like we put a name on the list and we get a player. You have to convince the players and speak to clubs."
Chelsea had an indifferent end to the season. Despite a lean run of form, they still finished third in the league in comfortable fashion.
