Chelsea prepared to sell experienced midfielder

Chelsea are willing to part ways with midfielder Jorginho amid interest from Juventus, The Telegraph reports.

The Blues are expected to pursue a marquee midfielder this summer, and this may coincide with a potential departure.

Saul Niguez will be returning to Atletico Madrid after his loan stint, but there are also talks of Jorginho heading for an exit.

Both N'Golo Kante and Jorginho have shown signs of regression, but the hierarchy want to keep the latter next season.

Meanwhile, Jorginho has been a long-term target for Juventus, and they could finally get the chance to land his services.

The Italian's current deal with the Blues expires in the summer of 2023, and he could be available for around £20 million.

Chelsea are yet to find a quality successor. They were previously keen on Aurelien Tchouameni, but a deal is unlikely.

Real Madrid have jumped ahead of them in the pecking order, and are expected to sign him over the next couple of days.
