Serie A giants planning shock move for Arsenal forward
Serie A giants Juventus are reportedly plotting a surprise move for Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli.
The Bianconeri are expected to pursue a new forward this summer with the departures of Alvaro Morata and Paulo Dybala.
They have already been linked with several domestic players, but Calciomercato claims that Martinelli is also on their radar.
The Brazilian has established himself as a key player for the Gunners. He bagged six goals and seven assists from 36 appearances last term.
He has been rewarded with the famous number 11 jersey for next season, but it is reported that the Bianconeri will still make an approach for him.
Arsenal were interested in signing Arthur on loan in January. The Bianconeri are now willing to include him as a makeweight for Martinelli.
It appears unlikely that the Gunners will consider the offer. Martinelli's deal expires in June 2024, but the club are already planning a renewal.
Arsenal have a big summer ahead. The focus could be on marquee signings that can help the club push for Champions League qualification.
