Barcelona man tipped to complete Chelsea transfer

Barcelona attacker Ousmane Dembele has reportedly been tipped to complete a move to Chelsea next month.

The Frenchman's current deal with the Catalans expires on June 30, and he has no plans of putting pen-to-paper on a renewal.

He has decided to pursue a new challenge and Sport claims that the Blues are well placed to sign the 2018 World Cup winner.

Dembele was on the Blues' radar during the winter transfer window, but he decided to stay put for the remainder of the season.

This was primarily done to have the freedom to choose his next club while he has the assurance of a significant signing-on fee.

So far, there has not been any widespread interest, and it appears the Blues are still in pole position to sign him on a free transfer.

Dembele was out for the first half of last season with an injury, but still impressed with one goal and 13 assists from 21 LaLiga games.
