Arsenal confident of signing versatile midfielder

The Foxes are eyeing €35m for his services, but Arsenal are optimistic of negotiating a lesser fee as his contract expires next summer.

Tielemans has previously been on the radar of Chelsea and Manchester United, but they have other priorities for the transfer window.

Chelsea's main focus lies on bolstering the heart of the defence while United are prioritising a genuine holding midfielder ahead of next season.

Tielemans can also play in the number six role, but he is more comfortable in the central position where he has the freedom to push forward.

He bagged six goals and four assists in the Premier League last term. He should provide the Gunners with much-needed creativity.
