Arsenal favourites to land Manchester City star
Arsenal remain favourites to sign Manchester City star Gabriel Jesus despite interest from Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.
The Gunners have been in constant contact with Jesus' representatives, and personal terms appear to have been agreed.
They have yet to finalise the transfer fee with City, but The Athletic claims that the Gunners are confident of sealing the deal.
Their opening bid of around £30m was rejected by Pep Guardiola's side, who want close to £50m to sanction his departure.
However, the Gunners are quietly optimistic of signing him for less, and believe they can convince City with add-ons.
Chelsea and Spurs are also interested in the Brazil international, but they seem unlikely to move for him at the moment.
The London giants are aware that the Gunners are in advanced talks, and may only enter the race if the negotiations break down.
If Jesus makes the switch to Arsenal, he would become their second highest earner with wages of around £190,000-per-week.
