Arsenal have agreed personal terms with Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans, according to CBS Sports' Ben Jacobs.

The Gunners have been fancied to sign the Belgium international for a number of weeks, but they have yet to make a formal approach.

Personal terms have been agreed between both parties, but the Gunners are reluctant to meet the Foxes' £30m valuation for the player.

The north London club don't feel the price tag is justifiable, considering the midfielder's contract expires at the end of next season.

They are prepared to play the waiting game for the moment, and believe the Foxes could be tempted to sell for less in the coming weeks.

Tielemans had an average 2021/22 campaign with the Foxes. He contributed 10 goals/assists but also conceded as many as four penalties.

His stock has reduced as a result, but the Gunners still believe they can get the best out of the 25-year-old if he joins the club this summer.
