Man Utd close to sealing deal for Dutch defender
Manchester United are reportedly on the verge of signing Feyenoord defender Tyrell Malacia.
The Netherlands international looked likely to join Lyon earlier this week, but United hijacked the deal at the final hurdle.
Their offer of around €15m plus add-ons was agreed by Feyenoord, and L'Equipe claims that Malacia will join them.
Les Gones were willing to match that figure, but the 22-year-old has been swayed by the prospect of playing for United.
The left-back is expected to sign for the Red Devils over the next few days with personal terms unlikely to be a problem.
Meanwhile, the arrival of Malacia is expected to coincide with the summer departures of Alex Telles and Brandon Williams.
Telles has been the deputy to Luke Shaw for the left-back spot, and he is unlikely to accept a third-choice role next term.
Williams, on the other hand, is said to be free to leave the club after an average loan spell at Norwich City last season.
