Raphinha heart set on Barcelona move
Leeds United forward Raphinha is set to disappoint numerous Premier League sides, as it appears that the Brazilian star is insistent on a transfer away from England to Spain, with Barcelona his intended destination. Barcelona are struggling financially at this time though, and are unable to match the 60 million euro valuation.
Both Chelsea and Arsenal have been linked with a move for Raphinha, with both London sides tabling £50 million transfer offers. Neither offer has been accepted by Leeds, with the club holding out for closer to £65 million.
It is understood that Barcelona have an upper cap of 45 million euros to sign Raphinha, and need to sell players if they are to secure a move for the explosive talent.
There are reports that a deal could be on hold for the time being though, as Barcelona could land a windfall of £117.6million (€207million) having secured a cash injection.
It is understood that Raphinha's agent Deco has been spotted at the Nou Camp in recent days, and talks are continuing, with a deal likely to take time across the whole summer transfer window.
