Cristiano Ronaldo could reportedly continue at Manchester United next term amid the lack of transfer interest.

The Portuguese recently revealed his desire to leave the Red Devils to play Champions League football, but the club have no plans of selling him.

A number of high-profile clubs have been linked including Chelsea, but Fabrizio Romano believes Ronaldo has not agreed terms with anyone.

Hence, he appears more likely to continue with the Red Devils next term, though things could change from now until the summer transfer deadline.

Ronaldo made a shock return to Old Trafford after 12 years last summer. He had a superb homecoming season with 24 goals across all competitions.

Despite his exploits, the club only finished sixth in the league standings thus failing to qualify for the Champions League for the 2022/23 season.

Ronaldo has played in the elite European competition for 19 straight campaigns, and seems determined to extend the streak for another season.

Only time will tell where his future will lie. For now, he is expected to skip the pre-season tour of Thailand and Australia for personal reasons.
