Man Utd hold talks to sign 25-year-old striker

Kalajdzic to Man Utd?

Manchester United have expressed an interest in signing Stuttgart striker Sasa Kalajdzic this summer, according to Florian Plettenberg.

The Red Devils are eyeing a young striker amid speculation that Cristiano Ronaldo will leave the club before the transfer window closes.

The 37-year-old wants to play Champions League football for the 20th season running, and his agent is on the look out for potential offers.

Amidst this, the Red Devils have contacted the representatives of Kalajdzic, who has less than one year remaining on his Stuttgart contract.

The 25-year-old bagged 16 Bundesliga goals in 2020/21, but just six last season, having missed the first half of the season with a shoulder injury.

Despite this, he is attracting plenty of interest. The Austrian has a superb aerial presence with his height of 200cm. He can be a gamechanger.

The striker has scored 50 per cent of his goals from headers since 2020. He could be a good signing for United if he can get over his injury troubles.

Kalajdzic, who is valued at £17m, has suffered three long-term injuries over the past four seasons. United may have to take a risk with him.
