Man Utd want to sign Carney Chukwuemeka
Manchester United have joined Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund in the race to sign Aston Villa youngster Carney Chukwuemeka.
The Red Devils are currently trying to persuade Frenkie de Jong to join them, but they are also on the look out for emerging midfielders.
Chukwuemeka is one of them, and TalkSPORT claims that United are among a long list of clubs that are interested in signing him.
The 18-year-old managed 12 Premier League appearances last campaign, but the vast majority of those came off the bench.
Villa have tried to negotiate a new deal beyond next summer, but the youngster seems to have made his mind up to leave them.
The west Midlands outfit are eyeing £20 million for his services, and it remains to be seen whether United can land him.
Chukwuemeka would want regular game time which may not be the case under manager Erik ten Hag ahead of next season.
On the contrary, Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund seem to be more willing to hand minutes to youngsters over recent years.
